How to perform regular dips

I’ve never performed any and wanna try.
Should I keep my elbows parallel to the bar or flared out? Or just what feels the more natural?

Laurent, you could target diffrent muscle groups by tucking your head and leaning forward or by straightening your body head up. Generally you don’t want to flare your arms out. Work up to lowering your shoulders lower than your elbows. good luck

The position of the elbows depends on your training goals. If your using the dip as a tricep movement then keep them tucked in. If your using it as a chest movement, flair them.
