How to Know if Your Gym Sucks?

Sorry to necro, but that kind of gym isn’t too hard to find in most big cities. Really, he’s just describing pretty much any decent powerlifting gym.

My gym is a performance training gym, that has all of that, a ton of oly platforms, strongman equipment/astroturf, a (small) crossfit area, always has free chalk, reasonable rates, and lets you train shirtless. The downsides are no mirrors at all, no wifi, limited hours, crappy climate control, and next to no BBing stuff. Sometimes you can’t have everything, but I love the place.

If you live in a large enough city, I would definitely recommend checking out your options because there are often some hidden gems!
