I started doing Muay Thai about two weeks ago, and have went from 194 lbs to 183 lbs. Is there anyway I can keep my weight on? I’ve already tryed upping the amount of calories I eat per day.
Keep upping the Kcals until your burn rate equals or excceds your intake. It may take you some time to find the equilibrium point.
Eat and continue weight training.
There are basically two factors in the equation. You can either reduce the amount of energy you expend OR increase your caloric intake. If you’ve already increased your intake and are losing weight EAT MORE.
An easy way to get some extra calories is to add some flax oil to your diet. 2TBSP twice per day will add close to 3500cals per week.
