How to Decide TM After Finishing Strength Challenge from Beyond 5/3/1?

Hello Jim. After one finished the Strength Challenge from Beyond 5/3/1, how do I decide the TM for my next program from 5/3/1?

Should I use the 85-90% of my new 1RM for my Squat, Bench, Deadlift and Press as my new TM for the next program that I am going to do or I should using 7th Week Protocol to decide my TM based on the 1RM that I got after finished the Strength Challenge?

The only time you calculate a new TM is when you need to lower it.

Add 5lbs to upper body lifts, 10lbs to lower lifts after every cycle until you need to lower it.

Some programs like 5x5/3/1 require a lower TM (80%), so you’d need to lower your TM for that.

Run a 7th week protocol week (the version where you test your TM)
if your TM is based on 90% and you do at least 3 rep keep on adding as mention in the book
if your TM is based on 85% and you do at least 5 rep keep on adding as mention in the book
If you don’t, reset TM accordingly to your new calculated max
