How to Calculate Tempo?

I’m still confused about how tempos works.

I wouldn’t worry about them. If you are concentrating on tempo, you aren’t concentrating on lifting the weight. Just make sure you are moving the weights in control for the concentric and the eccentric and you should be fine.

Now, if you have someone training you, let them worry about how your tempo is. You just want to be safe and in control.
