I’ve replaced 2 minute plank holds with bodysaws in my prehab glutes/core routine.
The bodysaws give me intense ab and oblique DOMS where the plank holds never did. This is probably good as it might mean they’re actually doing something.
However, I used to train the plank holds every day, but should I train the bodysaws every day? Or should I treat them like a ‘strength’ exercise (so do them 3x per week) and not a prehab one (which I’d do every day) since they are giving me DOMS?
