How Not to Warm Up - Trends Changing Slowly

This is old article and old studies and yet I still see people doing this stuff all the time (including me untill recently). What’s Yours experience with this?
For example, I like this guy’s content and have high opinion about his knowledge and yet I found in his recent video about warm up (best way according to science…according to him) scorpion exercise… =>

Warming up is sooo pre-ARXfit.

Two entirely different coaching philosophies, and the article was really just a warning against spinal rotation in extension. And that only applies if it’s a problem in the first place.

I don’t warm up or stretch.

I just walk in the gym, go for a PR on the eccentric leg press and call it day.
