How Much Skill Work in the Offseason?

Hi coach Wendler, I’ve read your 531 for athletes article and really enjoyed it. However it raises the question about during the offseason (lifting 3-4x a week), how often should/can I afford to practice my sports skills (I play lacrosse defense)? Note, I plan to do sprints/jumps/throws before lifting on lifting days as well. Thanks for your help!
