How Good is Laura Phelps Sweatt?

i heard somewhere that if she was to compete with men she would be ranked 2nd in the US in the 165lb multi ply division

whats her total world record compared to 165 men’s world record in equipment lifts…?

To the yougoogilizer!

not 100 percent on the world rankings, but as far as national rankings the top five men’s totals at 165 (multiply) are:

  1. 2100
  2. 2045
  3. 2039
  4. 1973
  5. 1929

laura phelp’s best total at 165 (multiply) is 1800, which would be tied for 15th place on the men’s side

thats mighty impressive for a woman… im sure world rankings she would be probably in the 20th range…

but, with this info, people are still laughing like she couldn’t compete with the men…

Her total is 1800. The world record for multi-ply 165’s is 2171. There’s a pretty sizeable gap. She’s obviously a very strong lady though. I can’t say she has the most legitimate squat depth… but very strong nonetheless.
