Yeah I hate overthinking programming… But I still do and I really want some opinion on this. I an currently looking into adding some of the 531 techniques like joker sets or some other…

Dumbbell Side Bends 5 x 10-30
Front Squat 5 x 8-12
Good Morning 3 x 8-12

Tuesday

Bench 5/3/1+
Military Press 5 x 10
Weighted Pull-Ups 5 x 5-8
Close-grip Bench Press 5 x 10
Standing Curl 3 sets x 10 reps

Thursday

Deadlift 5/3/1+
Squats 5 x 10
Hanging Leg Raise 5 x 10
Romanian Deadlift 5 x 8-12
Leg Press 3 x 8-12

Saturday

Military Press 5/3/1+
Bench 5 x 10
Bent Over Row 5 x 10
Dips 5 x 10
Concentration Curl 3 sets x 8 reps

Looks to me that you want to do boring but big and some random bodybuilding routine in one workout. Dont…

#3

This is good for the first 2 out of 5 cycles maybe 3 if you are a beginner and in need of more mass.

#4

Also i would do more pulling and only do curls once a week. Superset all bench press and press with chins and rows. Train like an athlete not a bodybuilder

#5

You are doing two BBB exercises. So don’t do that.

Lower body 531
BBB assistance
Hypers
Abs

upper body 531
BBB assistance
lats
Curls

Or pick a template, and that’d be ggrrreeeaaaaattttt…?.

Thanks alot for the feedback, so would it be better to make the second BBB exercise 3 sets instead of 5 sets? Or just cut it?

I am trying to superset bodyweight pull-ups with both military press and bench press.
