I am doing TBT by CW and in it(like many programs) they suggest you increase your weight by 2.5% a week. My question is how do you go up by such small increments with stuff like DB-Press? At most gyms DB’s jump by 5lbs at higher weights.
Try Plate Mates, or if the DB’s are the Allen Screw type (i.e. not welded) you could dis-assemble one end and put a small disc over the handle then re-assemble. Can be a little awkward but it works. One last thing I’ve done is to take a roll of fape, and tape the (small) weight disc to the outside of the DB, you need a knife to strip them off again but its fairly quick.
