How Could This Happen?

Seriously, how the hell can you screw something like this up when families are waiting for news on their loved ones?

Its like the 72 Summer Olympics when they said all of the hostages were saved. It boggles my mind that something like this could happen in this day and age when information is passed along instantaneously.

Capt. Hartono, a spokesman for Adam Air, told reporters earlier Tuesday that the rescue team found the site near the coastal village of Polewali, recovered 90 bodies, and found 12 survivors.

It boggles the mind.

That’s what you get when you get your sources from a VILLAGE!!! Fucking ididots. What did they expect?

This isn’t the first time the press has screwed up a story. The big thing is to be the first one out with the breaking news. Accuracy and details are secondary, and there never seems to be any apologies for errors.

No it doesn’t. According to various posters on this very forum, it just indicates a government conspiracy.

remember when all those miners were stuck in that mine in WV?

I remember hearing they had got 13 out alive and only 1 died but pretty soon they realized they were wrong and only one was alive and he was almost dead.
