T Nation

Hormone Level Article

I know T is the most popular hormone on this site, obviously, but there was a great article on other hormones that should be looked at, like some obscure thyroid hormones and such. I am wondering where this article went, since there are so many out there. I am considering getting my T levels checked, but thyroid and liver issues are often in my family, so is there any other thing I should be on the look out for?

My gains are decent, but if I can’t grow a full beard by age 22, I think there’s something wrong with me. It would be more useful to me than muscles at this point, looks wise.

If you are genetically not very hairy, you won’t grow a full beard, no matter how much testosterone you have coursing through your body.

Consider yourself lucky. Some people have to shave 2x a day.

If all else fails, get hair transplants.

how do you go about getting yout T levels checked?

Actually, I have loads of hair on my chest and arms, but it’s just the facial hair that’s really weak, and often not even growing in some spots. This is why I think T levels could be low, if I am genetically hairy, but I never really developed it on my face.

well, i could grow facial hair since i was twelve. guess i’m lucky?

Up.
