Hormone 'Homeostasis'

Is there a general line of thinking in terms of (obviously generic/ballpark) time passing before changes in therapy begin to have noticable effects?

I was reading, for example, that brain fog for a lot of folks starts to improve “after a couple of months of proper TRT”, or that depression took “6 to 9 months of TRT”, whereas some other things had more rapid turnarounds such as libido and erection quality.

Does it take substantial time for changes in our hormonal systems to reach a new homeostasis?

The only rule of thumb is that everyone is different.
