Hormone Fluctuations, What Gives?

Any pm function on this forum?

The forum system doesn’t support PMs and we generally don’t post members’ outside contact info (e-mail/phone number/address [yes, it’s been attempted]).

It’s common practice in the TRT forum to simply post the doctor’s name.

Understood…thank you.

I do have your email so if u want more specifics just ask and I’ll email u.

Defiantly more specifics. Thank you.

@physioLojik what is the ideal ratio of E/T? Is there one? Or is that also person specific.

I should also mention Cialis can lower estrogen in some men by inhibiting estrogen conversion, it has anti-estrogen effects.

Yes I’ve seen that very small study and have cut my cialis dose from 12mg daily to 12mg eod and now to 7mg 4ish days a week. When my libido is shot I can take 12mg of cialis and 100mg viagra and still not keep an erection.

When my libido is on don’t even need the cialis.

My doc approved the daily sub q injections. I start tomorrow so will definitely keep you guys posted. I appreciate all the advice.

You should completely stop taking the Cialis.

You are low e2, and your taking something that lowers E2…

When your libido is good, you don’t need the Cialis. That makes sense, your e2 sounds like its the problem.

I knew it seemed odd he could keep maintain good estrogen levels, something has to be draining it and it’s Cialis.

U may be able to do with much less daily dose. The max daily dose should be 5 mg. I do 3 mg cause some days during week I have erection issues.

One study with like 20 people isn’t that convincing but I’ll lay off the cialias to give it a try.

Initially the PDEi helped me maintain erection strength that had become inconsistent. Who knows if it ended up contributing to low E after continually killing E with dex.

It could be the dex as already stated. But you were on a high daily dose though of cialis. [quote=“physioLojik, post:50, topic:241009, full:true”]
I’ve had patients from other docs come in who have crashed with either Adex or aromasin. Some guys bounce back after a month or two. Other guys take 9-12 months. Bottom line though is that you will get better. You need to just keep trying. Remember very small changes and time are your best methods right now.

And I think the study said it lowered the estradiol by 3 points? Or was it more.

Yes I think it was Around three points. Charlie I’m strongly considering injecting test cyp every day versus every 3 1/2 days. My doctor okayed this strategy today. What say you?

I like the advice @physioLojik gave.

This shit is complicated. I inject e3.5 days. And I think I get heart paps with my peaks and trough even though the peaks are suppose to be less with e3.5. There getting better so I am maintaining protocol.

I also started taking zinc picolinate and Brussel sprouts to lower my e2 and I think it working way to good. I was over sensitive to dex but my e2 was only about 31 just slightly high when I crashed my e2 with dex - e2 went down to 8 sensitive test.
I feel good now. Just waiting for heart paps to go away completely.

Edit. I can’t type today. Lol. Edited several times

Unsure which specific advice you are referring to but he definitely gives very sound advice.

Ive been making small changes for 1.5 years to no avail. Titrating down AI, stopping AI, going sub Q. Changing hcg dosing. Minus a 3 week disasterous stint of trying 50mg every 3 days I’ve been pretty steady 100mg twice a week guy. I Havnt tweaked my injection frequency much that’s why I’m leaning toward the daily dosing.

My E is likely 26-30 right now. I feel fairly good physically but sexually I need E2 > 35.

I gave my doc 3 options.

1- stay the course 100mg twice weekly
2- switch to 200mg every 5 days
3- Daily dosing

He said to give the daily dosing a try if I’m ready. Still contemplating this.

Additionally I’ll take the sound advice given here of bumping up carbs, and cutting the cialis out.

You’re supposed to be able to lower estrogen peaks injecting more frequently which could be driving E2 lower causing heart palpitations. I get heart palpitations when E2 is low.

I’ve experienced these two. Additionally when my E is super low I get paranoid AF.

I can pretty much tell by looking at my penis when my E is dlong as I loose significant girth as well as sensitivity when E is running low.

The confusing part about it is that you just never know how you will react. It’s all trial and error. Physio says some of his patients with lower E do well with 20mg daily which makes sense because consistently higher levels could lend less E fluctuations. Though peaks will be lower so less E May result.

Then someone else says go 200 mg every 5 days shooting for high peaks which theoretically should produce high E peaks but more swings.

In all honesty guess no one really knows how they will respond until they make said changes.

@physioLojik - to take the daily injection plunge or not? My doc says go for it. What do u say doc?
