Anyone have any ingenius ideas for this? A few things have crossed my mind but they won’t quite work in my case. I figured I could use chairs to hold the bar but I really don’t want to ruin my chairs.

OK Cinder Blocks, with a little padding on top, or build your own heavy duty sawhorses. Dig a hole in the backyard and stand in it.
2x4’s and plywood.
Look at the one’s sold by York. They give dimensions, so saw/hammer/drill away. The only difference will be that yours will not have an indent. No big deal really.
