Homemade Protein Shakes


Hey, I'm sure this subject has been brought up before... But I was wondering if anyone had any homemade protein shake recipes. A few years back, I trained intensively, (6 times a week, sometimes twice a day) and had no problem digesting store bought whey-protein shakes.

Since then, I've become lactose intolerant - severely. Since then, I have also bought a catering company, so, I'm able to get all sorts of ingredients in their pure form, egg white powder, whey powder,(ugh)soy-protein powder, any artificial sweeteners, oils, vitamins, anything bascially at a very low cost. I was wondering if anybody had any tips or recipes on making your own lactose-free protein shakes... Taste is secondary, I spend my day eating good food so gulping down a crappy tasting protein shake or two isn't too bad a sacrifice.

Any help would be much appreciated!


I like unflavored whey isolate. I can put it into whatever I want.


Whey ISOLATE is almost entirely lactose free (but read the label to make sure they aren't also throwing in Whey Concentrate).

As far as recipes, you can search "protein shake" or "bulking shake" and you'll get buttloads of them.
