Homemade Protein Bars

Does anyone have any ideas for how to make homemade protein or protein and carb(probably with oats) bars?

yeah order Biotest protein bars and open box at home.

It is very difficult to make protein bars without alott of junk. See protein bar article.

or
mix protein shake , put in container and bring with you.

I saw them doing homemade protein and energy bars on the food network. If you check out their website I’m sure you can locate the recipe.

(Yes I’m a loser who watches the food network)

1 mashed banana
2 tbl all natural peanut butter
4 scoops chocolate Metabolic Drive
4 tbl ground flax (or oatmeal if you want more carbs than fats)

mix well, divide into fourths, shape into bar or cookie form on wax paper, keep refrigerated, and eat when hungry.

1/2 cup oat flour
1/2 cup oatmeal
5 Tbsp natural peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 egg white
6 scoops protein powder
1 Tbsp flax meal
about 1/2 cup milk

Mix, put in 8x8 greased pan (I usually use olive oil to grease) and refrigerate

Berardi has a good oatmeal bar recipe on his website. I experimented with these on the weekend and they came out nicely. I highly recommend you try it out as well (goes by the name “Granola Bars”):

check out my journal for a p/c no fat bar.

Care to post a link?

Couldn’t find it.

Metabolic Drive
cocunut oil
peanut butter
(optional flax, greens+ etc)

mix together and refigerate at low temp…the cocunut oil will solidify and harden the bar.
