Homemade Protein Bars

Thinking of making some. I dislike oatmeal, so i figured making bars with protein for breakfast would allow me to get them in my diet…

Found a couple of decent recipes, that calls for protein powder, natural peanut butter, oats and milk.

Whats your take on homemade protein bars?

They’re hit or miss. Definitely depends on the recipe, as I’ve had good and not so good luck with them. You can definitely come out cheaper and with better nutritional value than store bought. My only advice is to make sure that the ratio of PB to protein powder is relatively high.
That and adding honey have been the only way I’ve been able to keep them from crumbling.
