Anyone have any ideas on how to make one of these?
Some friends of mine just bolted some cheap metal door handles to a piece of plywood about 1.5’ wide and just under the length of plates on the bar so the plates can still rest on the floor. The handles are pretty close together though, or else the wood would pull up with the band tension. It works great for speed deads.
Go to a Steel Surplus yard. You can get plate for about .20 per lb. Buy a couple handles and have soemone weld them on to your plate. Put down something like Grip Tape for skateboards so you don’t lose your footing.
