Holder, Busted

The subpoena results from evidence that Holder’s office, if not Holder himself (and if not, that’s a problem in itself) was aware. Someone has lied in a legitimate investigation. Be it to cover up corruption at some level, or complete negligence, someone is lying.

I’ll answer that question (if I can) if you eliminate all the hyperbole and the inference that Holder deliberately wishes to bring harm to U.S. citizens.

First, I was honestly curious as to about your opinion. My question wasn’t intended as a loaded one.

Second, I never said anything about it being deliberate. The facts are than the DOJ did this stupid horrible thing that killed people and that Holder is responsible for the DOJ.

That leaves only 2 possibilities:

 1. Through negligence, he was unaware of what was going on in his own department
 2. He knew and gave it his approval

Either way that’s a serious fuck up. And either way the result of the program is his responsibility.

It does, however, appear that he was briefed on it multiple times long before the program was ended. And at the very least if he was kept in the dark, the people under him should have been fired by now for their failure. He hasn’t fired anyone, and he claims that they drastically failed their duties.

But like I said, either way, it is his responsibility. Does it make that large a difference either way?

I predict he will resign.

I don’t really see much other option for him. I’m sure the administration will force it.

Agreed, Obama is taking major heat over jobs, the economy, Solyndra, Fast and Furious, I think he will throw them a bone to calm everyone down.

Agreed. Heading into an election, Obama can’t have Holder as an albatross around his neck.

Not with another Solyndra scandal coming.

Very good stuff Sloth. And I’m more than a little surprised that CBS reporters dug up the information. Maybe they sense Their chosen is losing his grip and they want to be the first to kick him to the curb. If this gets ugly it could look really bad by election day.
And, CBS again…

And now CNN has pointed out a problem. Holder vs. Obama.

Can it get better?
Yes.

Maybe not in the US, maybe not in the 21st century, but the idea of freedom is out there.
