HIT Training, Opinions?

I was thinking of doing a HIT style program, nothing set in stone, but doing a 4 days split with legs/bi's, chest, back and shoulders/tris. A 3-4 exercises per workout and 1 warm ups set and 1 working to failure set for each exercise. Has anyone had any success with this? LIke the dorian yates videos?
