Hip Pinch at Bottom of Squat


Hey guys,

Last week during a squat session i was starting to notice a pinching pain in my hip flexors at the bottom of a deep squat, I suspect i injured it maxing on back squats after that it was very tight, not sure what to do about it, i feel like this may be because of my inactive glutes and too much forward lean.

any help is appreciated


Do you feel the pinch in both legs? For example it’s just my left hip flexor I feel a pinch in. What kind of mobility exercises/warm up do you do? Have you tried rolling out the area with a lacrosse ball?
