Hip Pain While Squatting...

Today i finished up my squat workout, I am doing the 5/3/1 program. And on my last set of squats when i squatted down my hip really began to hurt. Never had any major hip problems. I am wondering if I need to adjust my squatting stance. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.


Where abouts is the hip pain? Stiff adductors, hip flexors and external rotators can all tighten when deep in the squat causing pain especially when adhesions are apparent. You would need to stretch all areas around the hip to avoid this. My main problem was tight adductors and hip flexors; stretching and foam rolling soughted this out.
