I am going to have to agree with you on the labs after getting my bill back. My first set of labs was $800 sometime dollars. Ouch. The doctors are coding my billing for insurance as like unnecessary or something since i am self treating. bastards.
I have been on a semi-kinda routine. I’ve taken 3.5mg of arimidex in the past week. I dont know if i should just go steady on a certain dosage or what… my e2 was soooo high (369) that i feel like i should take a bit etra for the time being to get it down before i go to a low eod dosage…
People underestimate the power of arimidex. Be careful. I popped 1mg to start, crashed my E2, felt miserable for two days, then started low and increased my dose to where I didn’t have itchy nipples.
I’m thankful my insurance covers my bloodwork, but I’m also careful about not going in too often for it, I don’t want to trip any alerts.
IMHO, it would still be worth it to pay for the labs so I can feel like I do now.
Was yours prescribed? I read a lot online about fake Adex. mine is actually BRAND adex…came in the nice little boxes and everything. didn’t cost that much either. I took 1mg on the first day, next day i took .5, and .5 the followng day… in the past week, ive taken 3.5mg. I have not noticed any differences at all.
Yep, got it from a pharmacy. 30 generic pills cost about 20$.
If it was actually branded arimidex and it was cheap, it’s probably fake, because the original manufacturer still charges for it like it’s on patent. If it were generic, you would have had a better chance.
Edit: alldaychemist is legit. If you purchased it domestically for a low price, it would be fake (or imported).

I just called them asking them to replace with a generic. However, I looked online and my packaging and pills are identical to what the brand looks like
I just took another .5mg… i guess the only way to test this is to see if i experience negative affects.
If it’s all day chemist, it’s legit. Never had a single problem with thier stuff, I assumed you got it domestically from a RC place or something similar.
That is great to hear. i just spent the last 2 hours googling that shit lol. I have now taken 4 MG in the last 8 days. if its legit, i should probably cut that, id imagine… odd that i havent felt a difference though.
Sometimes it takes a while for all the changes to occur. For me with arimidex, I felt a difference in 2 days, however I also felt clomid take effect in 3 hours (!) so I’m a bit sensitive to meds.
4mg in 8 days is huge. Pick a moderate dose and get tested in 4 weeks. That should give you a good ballpark.
If you bloods costed 800$ you should price shop online fro your next bloodwork, many places will have a 70$ “female hormone panel” that includes T, E2 and some other stuff. The 800$ bill is what happens when you walk in assuming that your insurance covers it, and you get denied.
Interesting. I have seen tests online for like $54 dollars, but i assumed that was just for the doctors order, and not the actual testing. Am i wrong? because when i go to the doctor, i get the order and from there the testing clinic bills me. If i had an order from online, would i not just be paying the order + the tests?
Well, I’m sure you could pay twice if you wanted someone to fill out the paperwork for you. To my knowledge, you don’t need a doctor’s script to get blood drawn. You can walk into a testing clinic, pay your money, get blood drawn and get the results.
Thats interesting. when i went in, i asked them to add tests and they said they’d have to get it run by the doctor.
Went to a specialist in pittsburgh. He said my E was wayyyyy too high and needed to come down immediately. He suggested Arimidex and at 1mg/day with labs in 30 days. I mentioned my concern about the dosage, and he said my e levels were so high that .25/mg EOD isnt going to cut it.
In the past 15 days, I’ve taken 5.25mg of arimidex total. So far, no results. Should I do 1mg/day? Is it possible that my levels are so high that i need this to knock it down? I was reading a post somewhere where someone was taking 1mg/day and over two months his E only dropped a little. Is it possible that some people don’t respond to it as well?
It’s entirely possible that you just don’t respond as well, or you over-aromitize. Are you overweight? Fat increases aromitization of T to E2.
I don’t have a better suggestion than your doctor. I’d go with it an evaluate after 30 days as he suggests. If you feel yourself crashing out, you can always lower the dose.
I have pretty low body fat. I dont have like 6 pack on tv abs, but if i flex them, i do lol
1mg ED won’t work mostly, it will further increase LH which will produce more T and E and could raise SHBG more! Best bet is to start 1-1.5mg a week in EOD doses and reduce clomid dose.
I did low does arimidex for 15 days, halfed my clomid does for a month. No change.
Everything you say is true, I just don’t have an alternative suggestion to lowering his really high E2, considering he was doing .25mg eod and it did basically nothing.
I just decided to go in and get my E2 checked. I will have results tomorrow. This way I will know if my lowering clomid/ low dose arimidex did anything
