High Intensity Methods in Your Training Split

Hi CT

I love the way you set up the training week and daily sessions in your recent article. My question is about assistance and accessory work.

the one method my body has always responded best to is low volume/high intensity - basically 1 or 2 all out sets of a moments or 1 rest paused set etc. It suits the way my body works and lets me focus in 100%, with more sets I lose focus (this is with higher rep sets, I enjoy low rep strength work).

So with the assistant lifts, is there a way to modify it? instead of 3-4 sets of 4-6reps, Could I ramp up to a top weight and perform one rest paused set with my 4-6rm. and with the next assistance lift perform one rest paused set with my 8rm.

thoughts?

thanks CT
