I did day 1 and 2 last week and day 1 again today and theyve made me starving and thirsty. Hopefully surge takes care of that

So it rained all last night and i train outside. So day 2 prowler pushes were a mess. Ground was soaked and prowler just dug in. Not a big fan of doing that ever again

I took today off. I felt tired physically and mentally so ive only done a 30 min walk today and ill try to catch a nap soon

That’s being smart. This program is no joke and recovery is key. I prefer that you take more rest days if needed even is that means taking longer to complete the plan.


Right, i can only imagine what itll be like in 2 weeks when im officiating 10-12 football games a week

Ive got a college football scrimmage and then basketball games to officiate that night. Can i do a serving of surge for both events?
Also, ive got 5 basketball games in a row sunday. I was going to do my day 1 workout that day since im traveling next week for football. So my question is should i 1 or 2 scoops of surge during my basketball games to be able to do my lift that day?

You absolutely can and should.

Ok, so i LOVE day 3. Itd be my favorite if we were doing max effort squats. For the most part its got everything i love. An Olympic lift and heavy carries what could go wrong? I’ll tell you what!!! It was that pullup hang at the bottom thats what!!! My forearms were so pumped i had to wait 20 min to type this up. Most insane forearm pump EVER!!!:joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy:

Well, you CAN use straps for the hang… it’s a loaded stretch exercise, not a test of grip strength :slight_smile:

I never got used to straps but ill give it a shot. Im a glutton for punishment so naturally i loved it. I really enjoyed the forearm pump. That pump was insane. It was awesome

Well, keep it in then. I wrote an article on why forearm size matters, so I’ll never tell you to stop doing something that will help you improve them
