Hi, I thought I'd introduce myself. I am a stay at home mother of two. I am currently 240 pounds and am 5'5". I'm not sure what my body fat percentage is, but I know it's really up there. I am currently on a low carb, high protein diet to battle PCOS. I'm making small progress with walking, hiit routines, and small weights. I want to graduate to big girl weights soon and am not really sure where to start. So any and all advice is welcome. Thank you from a very new to fitness woman!
whenever you have issues makes it harder but can be done
read the articles by Dani Shugart that are on this site will go along way in getting you where you want to get to
I recently read that taking inositol has shown to be in studies as effective for treating PCOS as prescription meds, but is both significantly cheaper and unlikely to produce negative side effects.
I'm not qualified to prescribe anything, but you might consider looking into it/asking your doctor about it as a way to help manage insulin insensitivity.
Good luck on your progress!
