What what was your daily diet when you went from 225 2 reps to 285?
Also irondoc-how do you know when to go up on the poundages you use for speed bench day. YOu say you started at 135 for 3 reps of 8 and on max days you attempted 3 90% and up lifts-so on max days do you find your new max and then use that for your 50 OR 60% speed day percentage? sorry about the questioning but I want to do this.
Basically, i tried to take in about a gram bper pound of bodyweight. I moved up the weight on speed day as I felt my max went up. Best I could tell you. Base the % on what you see your max effort days due.
