The guy was a great salesman/businessman, who really IMO was in the right place at the right time. I still recall the older issues of MM2000 as some of the best (possibly only by comparison to the crap Weider and Bleckman were putting out) stuff on the newstands.

I love going back and rereading my old MM2K mags. He was a great saleman, and people took it hook line and sinker.
