Herring Fillets

T dudes,
Does anyone here eat Herring? I picked up a couple of cans for dirt cheap at a dicount store. 9g of total fat including 1.4g of Omega three fatty acids, and 18g of protein. The only thing I could see wrong with them is the high Cholesterol (55mg) and Sodium (490mg). They taste pretty good too. I would like to know what some of the local nutritional guru’s think. LL, JB, or TampaT feel free to chime in.

Thanks, Joe

persnally i think fish like herring, sardines, and mackeral are superior to salmon. all those fish have high amoungs of omega-3 oils, without the fear of contamination. they’re never farmed as salmon are either
