No I’m not talking about me, but the movie. At least that’s what I think it’s called. Jet-Li, Donnie Yen that babe out of Crouching Tiger Hidden Wire. I’m assuming only one person will know when it’s coming out in the west so I might as well ask them directly. Ahem…Patricia when is Hero coming out in North America? Subtitles or Dubbing? Thanks. The movie has a planned release of November.
However, the DVD is available at these two sites:
www.dvdasian.com and www.av89.com
The DVD will be for “region 3”, but I’ve heard that it can be played on a regular DVD player. BUT, there are no subtitles and the menu is in Chinese (which isn’t a issue with me but may be for you “round eye” folks). There are two versions, one a bit more costly than the other.
And I’d like to take this moment to thank Miramax for not providing this movie with the “proper” attention it deserved. Bastards.

I think my dvd is regionless. Wooohoooo. I’ll wait for the theatrical release though.
