Herbs with positive implications for bodybuilers include Siberian Ginseng(adaptogen), Ashwagandha(adaptogen and perhaps T elevator?), Rhodiola(adaptogen, antioxidant, purported to increase 5-HTP, elevate mood AND improve memory), Valerian and Kava for sleep…and many more. Also, on a seperate note, is anyone familiar with OCTACOSANOL, a concentrated extract from wheat germ oil? I have heard that is increase oxygen supply and increases sex drive; I know a successful competitive bodybuilder who uses it pre workout with good effect; he avoids stimulants.
