Help Z-Man, RE: Grip Strength

Figured this would be a good way to address what folks do to improve grip strength.

I train grip supplementally, usually on days where my workout partner and I finish early, generally around three times a week.

We do one handed tosses with a medicine ball back and forth to each other using only fingertips to catch and throw.

We also do forearm curls, fingertip pushups, the “squeeze machine”, fingertip curls, and at home I squeeze a baseball or tennis ball keeping the ball in my palm, kind of kneeding it with my fingers.

What other kinds of things do you all do for grip?


I should start doing this again, but for a while I was using those big plastic mayo bottles filled with sand. Just lift and hold for 30-45 seconds.

You can usually get them from smaller independant fast food joints.
