Help with Strange Symptoms

Hi everyone! Not sure where to post this but I need serious help.

After bodybuilding for 2-3 years and putting on good muscle mass, I decided to go on a serious cut that turned into an eating disorder in June/july 2016. I went from about 175 lbs down to 139 in a month, and kept that weight for 6 months. My diet basically consisted of water/black coffee and vegetables with the odd piece of meat, and some oatmeal.

Anyways about 1 month in I noticed the absence of morning erections. I didnt worry because I thought I was just getting older I was 21 at the time. Started to notice lower libido a month after and thought it was because of the diet and when I stop it will come back. I was soo preoccupied with how lean I was getting and my first job on a construction site I didnt notice what was going on. In december 6 months after the start of my diet, I was soo skinny and always cold. I could not get an erection for the life of me one day and when I ejaculated barely anything came out!

I knew it was time to stop this nonsense and began eating like a normal men again. I gained the weight back immediately with 2-3 weeks and have kept it for the last 2.5 years. My symptoms remain as the following:

I havent had a spontaneous erection in 2years.
My genitals are numb,like rubber!
I have bad ed, and can only keep an erection with constant physical stimulation.
I dont feel anything during ejaculation it just oozes out
I leak urine, and my penis tip constantly feels cold
I have no body odor anymore
I do not sweat in my armpits/groin anymore either (appocrine sweat glands)
I also developed urinary incontinence.

I have a herniated disc at l1-l2 and leg emng confirms severe loss of motor neuron in left and right leg.

DHEA’s is elevated slightly.
Total T is 650.
E2 is really low at 12pgml (11.5-46)
DHT 220 (300-850)

I have been to 4 endocrinologists here in Croatia and none of them seem to find a problem with my hormones. They are telling me it must be my back or in my head

The lack of function and sensation along with incontinence combined with back injury looks like spinal chord/neurological problem.

An endo isn’t going to be looking for that. You need to see a neurologist.

yes but it feels hormonal… I have low semen volume, no libido, no body odour, dry armpits, dry genitals no sweating down there. scrotum is always high. I saw the neurosurgeon and he said to finish with the endocrinologist because he thinks its hormonal, if endocrinologist rules all out then come back to see him. Endos ruled all out. I have functional mri and emg of sphincter next week

I’m surprised you didn’t get sent for emergency to rule out cauda equina syndrome. Good luck

that was my first fear, I still have these symptoms but I can control urine. I can stop and start the stream. Its just after im done, some comes out, once i bend over etc. This looks alot like post finasteride/propecia/accutane/ssri syndrome…

Well, I’ve seen everything you’ve described with spinal chord injury patients, but you could have multiple problems occurring simultaneously.

Either way, I’m not a doctor, nor do I play one on the internet. Sounds like your pretty well covered under the care of several doctors, so, best of luck.

thanks,
I appreciate you taking the time to give some help!

I call bullshit. I’ve done several juice and water fasts. Best case scenario I lose 1 to 1.5 lbs a day. Maybe you should see a Doctor?

you call bullshit on what?

My weight loss or my symptoms!?

I went through something similar for 2 years, in fact the cold feeling in my penis still happens when sitting too long, especially leaning forward. I’d seen countless specialists, yet not one could tell me what was going on. Don’t expect the MRI to find anything, i had 2 done and they couldn’t pin point it. Had 3 months physiotherapy for CPPS, did nothing. I ended up on lyrica and amitriptyline plus diazepam for the stress of it. Horrific time, erections nonexistent.

I was on TRT and arimidex which had my E2 low for a long time. After stopping arimidex and letting my e2 climb higher the erection problems went away but the cold feeling still kicks in now and again especially sitting down. I believe I had 2 different problems and it was all confusing as not one doctor could help.

Things are a lot better. I think it was some nerve damage or back spine problem. Or neuralgia prudental nerve, which is super rare apparently. You could have 2 problems like me, low E2 causing the limp penis problems and the other some nerve problem causing the cold sensation. There’s others online I’ve read with exact symptoms but never an answer. I’m just glad my erections are back, everything working again but the cold feeling in the tip of penis still bothers me from time to time

I don’t even know what I responded to, I apologise. I’ve done several water/ juice fasts. Weight comes off pretty quick. Success isn’t based on coming off the fast, but how you live coming off it

hi rizla, thanks for the response… I have 0 libido, no feeling in orgasm, mygenitals are numb like rubber, penis feels filled with air, cold tip etc. Did you have the numbness? Tight scrotum like a 5 year old?

Also my e2 seems low at 12 pgml but I am not on testosterone or taking ai?! What would cause this low e2 and low dht?

Yes exactly what you say… all of it. Getting the E2 up should fix the erections, well it did for me but the other problem you have unfortunately there is no known cure that I have come across… trust me I had spent 2 years reading every website on the internet and every doctor is clueless to it. They all have there theories but non of it worked. I used to sit with a rice sock heated up on my lap and eating diazepam like sweets just to get relief mentally from it.

I’d work on raiseing your E2 to at least help with some of your issues. It took about 6 weeks to start getting morning wood again and libido. The other problem is something nerve related and that is going to be much harder to sort out.

how will I raise my e2?!
and what is causing my low e2 and low DHT?

You would be best bringing that up with your doctor. Certain foods and other natural methods could help. Or getting on some HCG or a Serm, but again id recommend seeing the doctor about it. If it was me personally id hop on a light Test cycle lol, but that’s terrible advice to tell someone online. The difference is me being 37 and already on TRT, that’s not something a young fella like yourself wants to start messing with.

See your doctor mention the low E2 and take it from there.

Im currently in Croatia so it doesnt help, the docs here i dont think are as experienced. I messaged my doc in Canada and he says he never understood why they tested e2 on a young healthy males and its irrelevant!

well this is what you are up against… My doctor told me a test level of 300 wasn’t an issue lol The thing is you are young yes but healthy … doesn’t sound like it to me.

idk know what to do anymore? my genitals are completely numb/ to the point I can not tell whichway my penis is facing in my pants. It is very uncomfortable numbness! I dont have libido or normal semen volume either. Eyes are completely dry which I see is also a symptom of low e2?

Yep that’s one symptom. Do you get dry skin as well on face ? It could be possible that eating disorder caused some changes in your system, but that’s only a quick guess off my head. There’s a good Endo doc on here might be able to add something to this @physioLojik I cant really add much more only from my personal experience with what happened with me. good luck
