Help Understanding Cardio, Glucagon, and Cortisol?

Hey guys, disclaimer: im not a expert obviously, so im just trying to understand further.
so my question is this:
if when doing Liss you’re in aerobic system, so you’re using fats for fuel, and the hormone(or whatever it is) that brings you in fatburning is glucagon.
when doing Hiit you’re in anaerobic system, so you’re using glucose for fuel, and the hormone that ‘‘brings’’ energy is cortisol.
so why do ppl say that doing cardio will bring your cortisol up, when it’s not being even used?
