Help to Modify Best Damn Workout for Pre-existing Injury?

Hello Coach,
I am very interested in getting into your newest program (I’ve done several of your and they are all great, thanks for that and keep up the good work, you help a lot of people).

I have 3 specific questions for you.

  1. What is the best replacement for the Romanian DL? One that is friendly for a permanently injured back (2 slipped discs, and several degenerative)

  2. How would you add conditioning to this? Adding short morning sessions are more of a possibility than adding length to evening work sessions.
    My initial thoughts were do a mixture of HIIT and/or medium weight carries on Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri. What are your thoughts?

  3. Could you suggest or recommend any type of mobility work that would complement this routine? Specifically to increase my back longevity, something that will keep it active and working without putting unnecessary stress.
