Help me Choose a Barbell

I'm looking to get a decent Olympic bar for cleans/bench/DL. Thinking around $200-250 range. Found this Ivanco http://g2fitnessproducts.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=468
and this York http://g2fitnessproducts.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=204
and this Troy http://g2fitnessproducts.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=252

Any thoughts on how they compare? I don't need anything fancy, mainly want something with better knurling than my $30 Wal Mart bar. Looked for used ones but there's a piss poor selection on EBay. Thoughts on the Texas Power Bar? Thanks!

Any of those bars should do. Im sure you could find something a little cheaper than those.

Get a Pendlay...it's a little more expensive but works like a bar that cost $700+.

I've decided I want a true oly bar, something wit enough give to do cleans etc. I have cheapo bars I can do rack pulls with, and I mainly squat with my hommade giant cambered bar. Anyone use te Rouge Bar? http://www.roguefitness.com/store/rogue_bar.php

My friend recently was in the same position as you are. He is just getting a home gym set up and wanted a decent bar for cleans, squats and deads.

After much deliberating and looking all the different websites he narrowed it down the the Burgener bar and the Pendlay economy HD bar. He finally decided to go with the Burgener bar based on a coaches opinion.

Burgener bar:

Full bumper plate set on that site for under $600 as well? outstanding!

Burgener and Rippetoe bar looks pretty outstanding, to be honest. And knowing Rippetoe, he wouldn't put it out there if it was shit.
