I am having trouble finding an article I read on here a few years ago. I don't remember the author or the exact title, but the point of the article was that if you knew your 1RM on several key exercises it would predict what your lifts on your assistance exercises are.
For example it would say if your max bench was X, then you should incline Y and military press Z, etc. It was a pretty comprehensive list. I haven't been able to come up with the right search terms to make this pop up in the search engine, so if any of you know what I am talking about I would appreciate any help. Thanks a lot,
