Help Everyone with Training!

I want to get a bunch of the more experienced guys together and collaborate on a single comprehensive training program for beginner combat sports athletes. I’m hoping that we can get the resources together to really help some beginners (such as myself) gain some weight, strength, and athleticism. As these are the most commonly asked for tips. Maybe if we can put together something nice, we can get it sticky’d. Anyone want to help?

Fight more

Such sage advice. Why didn’t I think of that?

Traditional weight lifting has put me above most beginners (as an amateur fighter)

I am having trouble finding local amateurs that can even move me once I take them down. I strongly suggest anyone looking getting into mma to start early with the weight lifting, endurance and flexibility work.

I feel so much more powerful than some of the semi-pros I’ve gone against, but that doesn’t go to say they couldn’t knock me out…

Go look for a thread titled conjugate MMA.
