Heavy Lifting vs. Light Lifting

Heres my situation:

Im currently lifting 3-4 times a week and doing alot of weight.

3 sets of anywhere from 6-12 reps and the last set force failure…or dont get 12 reps in.

I do chest and tris in one day…back and bis the next…shoulders…and the last day legs

I am getting much bigger size wise but I want to get more “cut”.

Any suggestions for a workout plan?

Getting bigger and getting cut is a function of caloric intake (uh… eat lots/clean).

When cutting you might wana eat the same, just throw in some HIIT (high intensity interval training) and/or GPP.

HITT is basically cardio, but (as an example) you jog for 1-5 min and sprint for 30-60 seconds. Do this 10-30 mintues a day for mabey 3 days a week. Don’t over do it if you still wana get bigger tho.

As for what you should do for a workout:

Start with ABBH.

(Keep in mind those are just CWs workouts, you should try others after one of his, and see what works best for you.)

Simply, look at your results after 2 weeks and reevaluate your progress and adjust as neccesary.

thanks alot man…and i will try ur advice

I agree with the post above.

You also might want to alternate between heavy and light days.

CT states that lifting heavy increases the hardness of the muscle, giving it that dense look, even when your not flexed.
