Heavy Bench with Reverse Bands (Video)

So this is the first time I did a heavy bench with reverse bands.....Bar weight is 455 (dont mind the ugly bright plates) and from what we figured out its ~385 at the bottom and ~445 at the top of the press. Only maxed out at 430 previously. Thoughts? Suggestions?

It felt incredibly slow when I was doing it…then I watched the video and was like damn that looked quick

Only thing I’d say is watch the elbow flare that early in the push from the chest. The bar rises a hair too quickly towards your face, but that might be from the band tension pulling it that way.

If you have the chance, use a slingshot.

Good benching, keep up the good work. Your set up looks pretty good.
