Health Benefits of Green Tea

This is probably me over-thinking things, buts it’s a question that I’ve always had. I make green tea in a big pot of water, and then drink it cold over the next day or two. I never understood “how” the health benefits of green tea work (I just know that it’s healthy).

If I use one bag of green tea in 4 cups of boiling water, am I getting the same healthy benefits as drinking that same bag in 1 cup of water. For example, people say “I drink x cups of green tea a day” - does that imply 1 bag/cup? Can someone clarify this for me.

You wouldn’t get the same alleged thermogenic/fat burning effect as it’s dose dependent, but you’d get all the other good stuff (phytonutrients, antioxidants, etc.)
