285 x 2 -On the second rep, I felt a sharp pain at the base of my spine. Not a little tug or pull. This was severe. Day over. After I took 20 minutes to unload the bar, I shuffled home to ice my coin slot. After 3 hours I’m still mostly functional, but I really haven’t stopped moving. We’ll see how it goes in the morning after sleeping on it.

I still feel my back, and I think I’m just gonna take if for an easy test run for the next week of lifts. I predict that doing Rhodes 5x5/3/1 -(meaning 3 sets of 5 at about 80% of my 1RM) - on an iffy back would end with sub-optimal results. I’m just winging it here, and when I feel it’s right, I’ll leap back into normal programming.
