Head/Neck Position DL and Squat?

When I DL I tend to look down slightly keeping my head and neck align to my back so it’s neutral, if I look straight ahead I can feel it in my neck after a heavy pull. When I do RDLs, I look down even further tucking the neck so it’s completely straight to my back and let the hip hinge do all the work to prevent any rounding of the back.

For squats, I tend to look straight ahead focusing on one spot and remain there throughout even in the hole, it forces my back to be straight particulary during back squats. I dont know about rest of you but the head and neck position makes all the difference for me in performing a clean and safe DL/Squat.
