No, I’ve read some of his work, and I have a vague idea of what Keyne’s meant when he described the “animal spirits” driving the market.

That doesn’t make the line any less perfect within the song though :wink:

No, I’ve read some of his work, and I have a vague idea of what Keyne’s meant when he described the “animal spirits” driving the market.

I agree. It’s a good line.

The alcohol analogy is also clever, with Keynes getting smashed on drinks (served by Ben and Tim) & then attempting to cure his hangover with more alcohol.
