Hardcore Essentials2

Have to say I was a bit traumatized after walking about 10 miles at work last night following my lifting. My body was wrecked with pain in my hips, lower back, calves, hammies, and feet. My shoulders were aching and my lats felt as if beaten with a tire iron. There was slight blood in my stool from the exerertion(TMI- I know). So, overall the last couple of days have been great training!

I felt like that after unloading that mower, but I didn’t think there was anything great about it :unamused:

Perspective

A nice lift this evening while discussing Grover Cleveland with my daughter for a school assignment. My girl can almost do a pullup and she does pulldowns with 30 to 40 lbs.

Nice lift tonight while supervising 3 energetic girls so I took my time and went big.

Shin box will have to try that. Ive also found that stretching the calves with elevated front toe helps alot too. Never thought of paused rdl.
Strong work, kick ass session. No helpers tonite.

I’ve done shin box type yoga stretching in the past but was introduced to it again in an article on here. I’m very thankful because the shin box beginning progression is helping. Hope to learn more progression soon.

Shin Box must work well for you. Is 675 a PR?
