Thanks and apologies to all for the Thanksgiving and healing wishes. I’ve been doing some soul searching. Due to my strain I have decided to pull out of the meet. I can’t risk any more injury that might keep me from work or being able to compete in the future. I didn’t log my last couple of lifting sessions because they were disappointing and I have been incredibly busy with work, birthdays, and holiday meals. Forgive my absence.
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

You are way too hard on yourself big guy. Sometimes you just have to back up and punt. There is no shame in that. Your family and your health are far more important than doing a meet. I think you are giving it all you got Scotty. Even @DBasler had to regroup.

I’m so deconditioned due to having done limited exercises for many months that I feel very weak. I’ll change that the next 4 months so I will lift big at the Master’s Championships in April.
