and 10x stronger ! Happy Birthday my brother!! wishing you the very best !

Happy belated birthday. You’re at a really good age now.

I have always thought 30-40 minute intense workouts are the best ones. Keep chugging the water.

Thanks biker. Happy birthday to you OG and many more.

Happy birthday big man. You got me by six months.

Thanks Crippler, us young guys are still running hard.
Managed to get a 25 minutes lift in earlier.

Spent the weekend at theme parks with my family and that after 6 days of work. Felt good for this lift after lawn work but at Costco while working I developed severe shin splints and my fatigue was unusually high. So lots of fun.

forget about your lifting numbers ( which are awesome) after all the physical work you do…what honestly impresses more is your mental drive and attitude…remarkable.

I totally agree with OG. I also think you have a well rounded life.

Thank you so much OG and Biker. Your words are felt and heard. I greatly appreciate your support. In fact with this I am more inspired to do more and better.

Incredible amount of toughness always logged here. Just maybe await a lower heat index before that “more and better stuff”?

Time spent with family is the best. Get it in now, because you’ll be missing it when they get older. My oldest is off to college in two weeks, and the time flies by.

Oh yeah, good lifting too.

Thanks biker and Crippler. I think family time is my top priority.
Able to get in a full lift today.

Friday 8/5/16

All felt good and at 198 lbs bodyweight I’m starting to build strength. I’m considering doing a meet near the end of September.

That’s awesome! I think you should.

Thanks ChickenLittle, I’m working on my training path to get there and somehow mesh the demands with work.

Didn’t have time to record my lift yesterday but it was pathetic anyway because my body was trashed from work and the lifting last Friday. Here it is:

Monday 8/8/16

Squats:
135 x 10
225 x 5
315 x 3
405 x 1

Bench Press:
135 x 10
185 x 5
225 x 3

Trying to recover more now before I lift again.

405 squats easily keep the “spring” in one’s step. Probably running circles around everyone else at work.

Dayum, you’ve been busy.

Belated congrats on the Costco gig. Discounts on bulk meat orders

Do you use the fat-gripz on the OH work, like you do for bench? Would be an instant false grip. I remember talking with you about the fat-gripz. They’re definitely a game changer.

Well biker the rest of my crew outside are 1/2 my age or less and they have trouble keeping up.

Hawkcapt, I love the extreme Fat Gripz and regular ones for OP work and bench. I think using the Fat Gripz has given me new dimensions in grip strength and great variation for both lifts.

Today’s lifting was a great boost after my last dismal lift.

Thursday 8/11/16

Squats:(raw)
135 x 10
225 x 5
315 x 3
405 x 1
465 x 1

Bench Press:
135 x 10
185 x 5
225 x 1
255 x 1
275 x 1

Standing OHP:
135 x 2 x 5
165 x 3
225 x 1

Trap Bar Deadlifts:
140 x 5
230 x 5
320 x 3
470 x 3

Standing Crunches:
70 lbs x 20

A little over an hour of lifting that went well.

Your workout prior to Thursday’s was not dismal. Just ebb and flow of lifting.

You’ll probably motivate some Costco guys to start seriously lifting.
