What an abdominal thrasher this exercise is !!!

  • Great load on the abs w/minimal stress on the spine.*

At this point, I can only perform 5 sets of 6. After that I’m wasted. Anyone else out there given these a try yet? Stick them in your routine and be ready for some intense work.

MINIMAL STRESS ON THE SPINE??? Ask your chiropractor about that one.

If this exercise is done properly/good form, one should not have an extreme load placed on the spine. The abdominals should take the brunt of the resistance.

If done correctly I would agree w/ BodyIQ. Hanging pike will have minimal stress on the spine. Now if you do hanging pikes on those Ab blaster slings I beg to differ. The Ab slings are the worst for your spine.
